It is encouraged the presentation of posters on the issues discussed in the Congress. Abstracts should be sent to the Organizing Secretariat by 15/09/2017. The acceptance will be communicated within the next 10 days. 
The posters (70x100)  selected by a special commission at the conference, will be awarded. The posters submitted solely by residents and favorably evaluated by two reviewers will also be published for free on journal “Evidence - based psychiatric care”.  The same facility will cover the posters presented by young psychiatrists, provided the authors are in good standing with the membership fees, respectively of  the SIP ( Italian Society of Psychiatry) and  Associazione Italiana per i Disturbi Bipolari. The posters also involving “senior” authors may be published on the same journals, if passing the peer-review, with fees discounted by 50%, also in this case provided that the authors are in good standing with the membership fees.


Please, read carefully the guidelines before submitting your abstract  - Abstracts can only be submitted electronically through the Congress web page   - Each corresponding Author can submit UP TO 3 abstracts  - It is permitted to be co-Author on an unlimited number of abstracts   - Only abstracts not previously published or submitted for presentation elsewhere will be considered for presentation.  - Abstracts must be written in English. The maximum length allowed is 2,500 characters including blank spaces (approximately 350 words). Format PDF - Abstract title, Author(s) and Institution names are not included in the 2,500 characters  limit -  Abstract first author email address.  - Each Abstract must be divided into: Background, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusion. An initial brief statement on “Purpose of the Study” can be added in order to make the abstract as informative as possible.  - Please, note that promissory abstracts containing statements such as “Results will be discussed ..” or “Data will be presented ..” will not be accepted.  Acknowledgement of submission will be sent to the corresponding Author’s e-mail address immediately upon receipt.   If confirmation by e-mail is not received within 24 hours, please do not submit the abstract again, but rather contact the Congress Secretariat at: abstract@brixia2017.eu Notifications of acceptance or rejection of the abstract will be sent to the corresponding Author at the latest by September 8th, 2017. The corresponding Author will receive all the correspondence concerning the abstract and will be responsible for informing all co-Authors of the abstract status.
